| Our year of 2025 started at Cheveley, St Mary and the Holy Host of Heaven Church near Newmarket in Suffolk. This organ was
originally built in 1874, moved to Cheveley and rebuilt in 1902. It is a two manual and pedal Norman & Beard with pneumatic
action. We restored the original pneumatic drawstop machine and cleaned the pipework and casework. |

| At the very end of 2024 we restored the soundboard on the delightful one manual Bates & Son organ in St Mary’s Church,
Brent Eleigh, Suffolk. |
| Following on from our work last year at
All Saints’ Church Brandon Parva this
summer we fitted a reconditioned electric blower to the organ. The interesting feature here is that there is no electricity in the
Church and the blower is powered from a rechargeable battery pack which is more than adequate for a morning service, funeral or wedding. |
| Further afield at St Mary’s Church Rodbourne, near Swindon, the organ had suffered water damage due to the unfortunate theft of lead from the roof valley above the organ chamber. Luckily the damage was confined to the front pneumatic pipe chest and following
restoration the organ
returned to fully
playing condition. |
